We (Alison Ross and Gay Gray) have lived in the Boston area for over twenty-five years and during that time we have come to know and love the area. We've always enjoyed patronizing the shops and cafés in our town of Wellesley, which eventually led us to explore surrounding towns as well. During a visit, which included shopping of course, Moira (Alison's sister-in-law) mentioned that it would be helpful to have a guide book for shops in the Boston area. Thus the research and writing for Ally and Gaizy's Guide began. As you can imagine, researching (lots of fun!) and writing this book together over the past two years has been a wonderful experience. We hope our book will inspire many memorable times for you and your friends.
